The design of this production is quite strange, as, for example, there is a large masturbating rabbit in one scene. The video quality is also relatively poor, as though this were an old analog tape transferred to DVD. Fortunately, however, I quite enjoyed the performances. Hence, on the strength of the performances alone I grant it 31/2 stars.

I thought that the director made some bad choices on the stage direction. This opera is not my favorite, too much dialogue, lots of "park and bark" arias.
