Slow, predictable and could use more action / special effects. The movie seems to be targeting viewers in their early teens, but i dont think it will hold thier interest. This is a Sunday afternoon movie if you got nothing else better to do.

Utter waste of time. Embarrassingly DOA. I'm shocked Emily Watson played in such an absolute loser void of any substance.

A wonderful time travel story. Imagine being able to go back in time and then change something in your present. This time travel journey lets Dolph do that and much more. He becomes an important part of 13th century history. It is very clever how the writer took something futuristic and combined it with medieval. This is the second time I have watched it because its so enjoyable. The plot is not stupid. It is like any story...you have to first believe time travel is possible. Then, while in Medieval times, the time line and history is accurate. I've studied this period. It is not slow. What about all the battle scenes? What about the capture of the children for slaves? What about Dolph saving someone from drowning with CPR? What about Dolph rescuing the children from sickness or starvation? Not predictable. Great writing and plot! You want special effects in the 13th century? What ARE YOU THINKING? LOL
