" Life is a Paradox. The closer you come to death, the more alive you feel." So true. This movie is one of the best I've seen on the passion & determination of skiers who were/are pioneers in the quest to ski where no one has skied before. Some quests are just to be the first to survive a decent on skis. It's not necessarilly skiing. While watching this documentary, I just thought about the balls these pioneers had.... from the early days in Chamonix, Mont Blanc, The Grand Tetons, & Alaska.... to skiing & parachuting off 1000 ft. cliffs at the edge of a ski run. Fantastic cinematography.

I really enjoyed listening to and watching some of the pioneers of extreme skiing talking about why they do this!
