Radical anti-American flick. In bad taste. Damn the man type of movie. The subject matter so bitter it prompted everyone (good cross section) in the room: War vet, a conservative, an enviro freak/ bleeding heart Liberal, both males and females all to agree that we would eject this and go on to the next movie.

This was a stop after the first 20 minutes movie. Aside from being slow, poorly acted and preachy... It's VERY anti-US. Pretty low budget, too. Don't bother. Time and money waster.

The Insurgents is a decent film. The movie is about a band of disillusioned and disenfranchised individuals who plot a home-grown terrorist attack on the United States. Meanwhile, the FBI seeks to foil the terrorist plot by placing a mole in the group. Some view The Insurgents as an "anti-American" movie. To be sure, certain CHARACTERS in the film are anti-American, but the MOVIE ITSELF is not anti-American. The thrust of the movie as a whole should not be confused with the tirades of certain characters. I, of course, invite everyone to watch this movie and make their own decision.
