Street Trash (1987)
Member Rating:
This shocker will most likely appeal to fans of pitch-black beyond-bad-taste comedy. Others may find it highly offensive and gory as it chronicles the fate of homeless Brooklyn winos when they get into some tainted wine and begin melting into slimy puddles of human goo. The wine, called "Tenafly Viper," is being sold by the owner of a liquor store who found it lying around in his basement and sells it to the bums for a buck. It is later revealed that the wine was deliberately spiked by the government. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Yes this is a very offensive movie but was also done very well as the effects do just what they are supposed to which is make you squirm. If you like your horror offensivly gory and in a troma styled film this is your grail movie!

Despite some horrible acting and a plot that comes together as smooth as Courtney Love's legs, this movie was pretty entertaining. It has some outlandish and gory scenes, but the "sickening" aspect of it all was turned down a bit with all of the neon coloring. If anything, it gave me a life lesson in humiliating someone. Kick their ass in a public restroom, then proceed to gag yourself till you vomit on them. You just cant beat that.

This is one of those over the top gory comedy horror flicks. All in all it's pretty stupid, but is definitely entertaining. I just don't like how they used all the different colors of house paint for gore effects. There's a lot of offensive silliness in it, that's for sure.
