Special effects were very good, nothing else was, good time to go outside and watch the grass grow.

It stayed so true to the book usually movies have a hard time doing that. This was a fantastic movie as well as the book. However, it did leave out a small heart squeezing speech that Stephanie said towards the end. House has twists and turns and keeps you on your toes and also has a few sudden moments. A very good movie to those who like a good thriller but not with the gore and intense violence and surprisingly it has no swear words except the "H' word once. The book this movie is from makes one think and the movie is just as great!
