The description for this movie is for a completely different movie. It is not a remake of Das Experiment and Paul Scheuring had no part in it. The description shown here is a movie that is supposed to be coming out called THE Experiment. If you want to know about the movie that you will be watching if you rent this it is boring and it takes for ever for the plot line to expose itself. dont rent it. Wait for the Paul Sheuring directed movie to actually come out. it stars Adrien Brody and Forest Whittaker. Should be way better.

Its another really low budget film thats really boring. The pros for this movie is that it seems foreign and the people making it seem very earnest. Its also not at the lowest levels of ultra low budget filmmaking as if some teen borrowed a camera and hired his pals to star in it. However the film seems drab and pointless with the two characters waking up in some euro city with no knowledge of who or where they are. They also dont talk much and run around dazed in the city with flashbacks of some doctors doing something to them. It would help if this film was far more stylish and had a decent budget. As it is the camera just follows two people around the city as they get offered shelter or get beaten up etc. There are always a few people who love low budget films like this especially if you can remotely fit a deeply significant idea onto the plot --- authoritarian state vs the individual or some existentialist theme etc but most will find this painfully boring and low budget looking.

The description is wrong as some one else pointed out. The real description should read like this. 2005 rated R 95 minutes An amnesiac woman (Georgina French) plagued by merciless headaches and terrifying visions awakens in the streets of a mysterious city and happens upon a man (John Hopkins) who's suffering from the very same conditions. The pair works together to try to make sense of their situation unaware that they are, in fact, the involuntary subjects of a dangerous experiment conducted by a dark, unseen force.
