This is my favorite Jackie Chan movie pre-drunken master era. This movie is before Jackie Chan was a star in Hong Kong. He got to do HIS style of choreography here and it realy shows. Every fight has some great stuff in it. Speaking of fights, this movie has a fight scene about ever 5 - 10 minutes, so don't worry about the plot boring you. The finale is like a good 20 minutes or so with Jackie taking on 3 guys with spears before making his way to the main baddie. The spear part is very creative and fast. What hurt this movie is that the comedy is just not there like in post-drunken master era. If this movie had the comedy, I believe this would have been the movie that made Jackie a star, because the fights are great!!! Check this movie out, it's good stuff you are into old school martial arts flicks or just want to see Jackie before he became a legend.

My only complaint with this movie is that it was not in English. Everything else about this movie was awesome. The fighting scenes are a work of art and Jackie Chan rules. My son enjoyed this movie very much, especially the kung fu moves in the opening of the movie.
