The world of Tactics takes place in Japan in the late 1800's and revolves around the main character, an albino folklorist named Kantarou Ichinomiya. Ever since Kantarou was little he has been able to see and befriend monsters, and he swore that he would someday find the famous demon-eating goblin that was sealed away and become friends with it. His search takes years but he finally finds the goblin and names him Haruka, thus binding him to his service. Now as a famous folklorist and monster hunter, Kantarou works to exorcise various monsters and demons that cause people trouble. Tactics can switch from serious/eerie to silly/cute from one episode to the next. Tactics is that it is only a 25 episode long series, unlike other animes that can be up to 500 episodes. The bad news is that VOL. 5, that last in the DVD set has just recently been released and blockbusters doesn't seem to have it in stock yet. I would rate Tactics 14 + due to violence/potty mouth/drinking/sexual reference.

This anime is sillier to Inuyasha and Mythical Detective Loki. so far its about a male demon hunter finding his perfect demon.
