I had come across this movie by mistake & hadn't heard too much about, talk about a well done, throughly provoking story! I was really impressed with how well the story played out. The acting on the other hand, what can you say, it's a horror film, it's usually not the greatest, but I enjoyed Lou Diamond Phillips role & as well as the younger sister from the city who's visiting the small town in the start of the film. It had spookiness, caught me off guard a couple times, nicely done film I believe. It's not your typical horror film, a bit more on the suspenseful side than horror, that's just me. I would of course recommend it, give it a try & see for yourself. Enjoy!

I stumbled on this while looking for a few others that I was curious about and decided to give it a chance. I'm really glad I did. It takes a couple classic Urban Legends (the railroad crossing accident and the vanishing hitchhiker) and takes them in a new direction. Add a troubled teen fresh out of rehab that has trouble making anyone believe that what she's seeing is real and not a drug induced fantasy and you have a very good movie that keeps you guessing. Well worth the rental.
