This is a beautiful work of art. It's like a ballet about tumultuous young love. There is hardly any dialogue at all. But, the acting, like a ballet, tells the story beautifully in all its complexity and passion. The music is also perfect. I really felt I was watching something special in this. The direction was spot-on along with the editing. Set aside 140 minutes uninterrupted and back track once in awhile if you get lost because of the names and so little dialogue. I recommend it!

This movie was excellent! I have never seen anything like it. A drama so rich in emotion and raw reality. Although the actors rarely engaged in dialogue, their interactions, emotions, and body language conveyed a meaningful and clear message. The erotic scenes were performed with elegance, raw emotion, and tasteful nudity. Hands down, one of the best films foreign films I've seen.

It was like a Charlie Chaplin movie, really, it almost made me talk for the actors, but I guess is a good message for any one who is in a relationship, don't ever give a a true love for a fake image.
