Director Daniel Burman's "Family Law" left me with a feeling of "...and the point of the film is?" Ariel Perelman, Jr. (Daniel Hendler) is a teacher starts a family, wonders why, and then wanders through a journey towards embracing his responsibilities. His father Ariel Perelman, Sr. (Arturo Goetz) is the catalystic character in that Jr is always trying to reach up to his father's standards.Perleman, Jr. faced with the prospect of caring for his 3 yr old son, not his father -- whines & grinds to finally at least one touching moment as his wife returns home & they go misty-eyed to watch his son in a play. Yup, that's all folks.

Entertaining and well acted but no big deal - I certainly expected much more.

This is the kind of movie you turn off within the first 30 minutes.
