This is one of the most intelligent and stylized action movies to come out of Hong Kong in years. It also supplies an ample amount of character development and two hot, female characters that are more than eye candy. The ending is excellent as your brain is put through the ringer as to who was fooling who. The acting, directing, writing and editing were very good. Unfortunately, the dialogue was split between a Cantonese and Mandarin speaking cast. Most of the characters spoke Cantonese, but the actors playing the Connie and Billy characters spoke Mandarin and were dubbed in Cantonese. Despite the Dolby Digital 5.1 audio option making minor use of surround sound, the sound came across as mostly stereo. As for extras, there's trailers for nine other movies. Definitely recommended.

Not bad. Good acting all around. The plot unfolds rapidly in the last 15 minutes. Can't take my eyes off Ning Jing. She is a good actress, displaying many emotions in this movie.
