The acting is fine and the story idea is okay but I have to agree with the other reviewer. The movie seems to have enormous gaping holes, especially towards the end and I can only imagine the original movie was horribly over-edited. Its most redeeming quality is Sean Connery's fight scene at the bar. It's a short but incredibly entertaining fight scene. I had always been obsessed with seeing this movie because of the cast and I am glad I did. But the holes in the story left me disappointed.

Sean Connery, Mark Harmon, Jack Warden and a very young Meg Ryan make this film worth watching. Story is fair. Movie hold the viewer's interest. The Movie does seem "chopped up" somewhat - like there are parts missing. You're in a scene and something is said or happens that makes you feel like you have missed something earlier. Mark Harmon is a much better actor now - in NCIS (2005) - than he was in this movie.
