very well made. Emotions were highlighted very nicely. I very much liked background scores and sound arrangement. High points of emotions matched with nice silence or natural sound of water & wind of surroundings. Story was well written. I am a big fan of Aparna Sen, always. I am surprised that one reviewer complained about English accent. He did not get the context at all. The film's context is not USA or UK.

Very little subtitles as English was the primary language. Strong accents but was acceptable in understanding the cast. But it just did not do anything for us. I rated it as a miserable 1 as this seemed to have little value. The ending seemed weird and in a way, the real world we were exposed to could have actually been the dream and that she returned to the real world after finding her home. The director did not seem to give us enough clues for either conclusion. The scenes were slow moving and the dialogue tedious at best. Some films work good at building suspense but this just dead air space. http://rdrutherfordmoviereviews.blogspot.com/2010/09/15-park-avenue-2005.html

Aparna Sen has a vision that touches the human heart and just like Mr. and Mr. Iyer you are left leaving 15 park avenue understanding the characters. I was surprised by the ending that the film took but it didn't disappoint. The movie revolves around Shabana Azmi and Konkona Sensharma who are sisters. Sensharma suffers from schizophrenia and Azmi is her caretaker. Sensharma insists that she has a husband and family waiting for her at 15 park avenue only that street does not exist. Such is the frustrations of an older sister sometimes indulging her sister's delusion and sometimes not. For anyone who has a family member with a mental Illness you will find a sympathetic story in 15 park avenue.
