This is the story of Dida Diafat as he rose in the sport of kickboxing despite being a foreigner. There isn't very much fighting, so don't expect Tony Ja style fight sequences. Much of it deals with Dida's struggles to gain acceptance in the Kickboxing world in Thailand. Slow at times, the movie's focus is on the challenges he faced just being taken in by the Kickboxing school and eventually going on to win the respect of his teachers and promoter. It’s a good story of perseverance and perusing your goal. It's definitely worth a rental.
