Ang Kabit ni Mrs. Montero is a superior Tagalog movie that takes as its inspiration D.H. Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley's Lover" - a story about the sexual awakening of a woman married to a paraplegic. Not surprisingly, then, it features some quite explicit scenes. Patricia Javier and Sunshine Cruz are two of the loveliest Filipina stars. And the location photography evokes the "hacendero" life of the Philippine provinces beautifully.
The description states that the language is English. Not so. About 90% of the movie is in Filippino.
Secondly, this movie is a far cry from British movie "Lady Chaterley". It tries to copy it, but falls way short.
