Shintaro Katsu (Itchi of Blind Swordsman) in a bad guy role. Mifune great as usual. Good character interaction. Mifune is hired to help with a secret mission involving clan turf grabbing and imperial snookery. Chop house love. Swordplay good.

How can you not enjoy Toshiro Mifune? Yojimbo is a flawed, human sized hero, that encounters some people of all colors of the spectrum, from courageous to despicable, and treats each appropriately. What happens next is never certain until the end credits come. Highly recommended.
