if you ever wondered what kind of movie really doesn't need to be made, look no further. An unbelievably amateurish, tasteless waste of time for eveyone involved. Although it apparently had delusions of grandeur of being a sort of gay Fight Club, it lacked the script, direction, acting, lighting, art direction -- am I missing any petinent lack of contributions here? -- in short everything that could have made this anything other than a mistake. Which is how I came by it: I thought it was some sort of remake of the Michael Cain flick of the same name. It most definitely is not. Woof.

This is a grade B film that trys hard to transcend its minimal plot and lightweight acting, but fails in many ways. Despite all the brutality, I suggest you keep shopping if you are looking for a gay film with a punch.

The scenario relates this movie to the Fighter. I related it more to the MSNBC specials about prison life and how people with this mental makeup wound up there. This probably comes as close to x reated as I would expect to find with OnLine. Taken aback, didn't know how to relate and yet for people I have met through counseling sessions; I understood the depth I missed when I listened to people talk. I wish I had the viewing experience to ask questions that perhaps went unasked that might have helped someone. Perhaps it will be some factor or degree of knowledge I will carry forward.
