Sang-soo Hong continues his recent venture into the realm of art-house pornography with this film that's devoid of anything outside of titilating "bang" and "suck" sessions. The dialogue is limited to such insightful exchanges like, "There's a motel" or my personal favorite, "Wanna suck me off?" It appears that the artistic merits of the entertaining "Virgin Stripped Bare By Her Bachelors" was a fluke of sorts within this director's otherwise unimpressive portfolio that provides about as much insight into the human condition as the Playboy Channel.

How bad was this movie ? According to one of the actors in the DVD extras, in order for the actors to act drunk, they actually got drunk. The director wrote and rewrote this excruciatingly boring script while on set and it sounded like it. The director also seemed to want to control nearly every facet of the actor's performance. Unfortunately, none of that excessive control helped this movie ever achieve any level of interest. This was probably the dullest film I've ever seen. The Dolby Digital 5.1 audio option made minor use of surround sound. As for extras, there's two trailers for the movie, an "Introduction with Martin Scorsese" feature (2:30 min), an "Interview with Yoo Jitae" feature (5:39 min), an "Interview with Kim Taewoo" feature (7:45 min), an "Interview with Sung Hyunah" feature (18:29 min), a "Making-Of Featurette" (38:15 min), a "Photo Gallery" and trailers for two other movies. Not recommended.

The story is very confusing and poorly told. I didn't understand it and they went between the past and the present too much. It was a waste of my time and energy.
