Kevin Bacon is a fantastic actor and doesn't disappoint in this story. The subject matter is taboo but is presented in a way that, against your wishes, has you feeling sympathy for someone you feel you should dislike. There is nothing shocking or disgusting actually shown in the film, all of that is implied and left to the imagination. Great ensemble cast. It takes a while to get the meaning of the title for the movie, but once that happens, you'll realize just what a great title it is.

It was interesting how you could gain a different perspective on child molesters from this movie. If only all those that got out of prison could be like this character, this world would be a better place. From a psychology standpoint, I thought it was well written and put together. The nudity was not necessary, but the plot was good.

I've always thought that Kevin Bacon was under appreciated - this film drives that home - I don't know how anyone could have done a better job with such a difficult taboo subject matter than he did in this film where he plays a convicted pedophile named Walter released on parole. Bacon's wife Kyra Sedgwick co-stars in this film with him as his girlfriend. I must also say Mos Def gives a great performance as well in the supporting role as the detective assigned to Walter's case.
