Despite the movie's name, references to hypercubes, tesseracts and third and fourth dimensions, this movie has nothing to do with science fiction. Halfway through the movie, it's obvious the storyline exists only for character development and takes a back seat to making everything look cool. As a result, the editing, the Rashomon style storytelling and special effects are excellent. If you liked "Bangkok Dangerous", this is a step up from that. Although there aren't any audio options, sound is output in Dolby Digital 5.1 and excellent use of surround sound is made during action sequences. There aren't any subtitle options, however, subtitles do appear when characters speak Thai. Unfortunately, when characters speak something unintelligible in English, subtitles aren't available to clarify the dialogue. As for extras, there are two promotional trailers for the movie and seven trailers for Sundance Channel movies. Recommended for those who can appreciate style without a compelling story.

The first one-third of the film was not only repetitous, chaotic and confusing but a bit too bloody for my taste. The rest of the film continued to be too bloody but the story line and the characters began to make a little more sense. The film setting was Bangkok,Thailand (although I didn't recognize any of the locations) and there were several interesting scenes of that city. The boy actor was perhaps the more credible of the players but there were flashes of good performances by some of the other actors at times.

Not a whole lot here. I was very dissapointed. Very confusing. Hard to follow. On the positive some good special effects.
