After having seen "Riding Giants" and "Step into liquid", this movie did not even come close to the cinematography and overall production of the afore metioned movies. There was no sense about what surfing was all about. The surfing footage looked like it was shot on a 8mm camera. I didn't even finish watching it, because it was so bad.

Sweet footage. Tended to be a drag in some areas but interesting to watch overall.

Wow! This film takes your breath away within minutes of the opening shots! This film is a documentary of a group of surfers who study the atmospheric and oceanic conditions that create big surf, and then they go out to experience it. Through the use of modern equipment, these guys surf what is impossible by just paddling alone. Every surfer (old and young) must see this film!
