Don't get too caught up in what you know about vampires and saying the movie didn't get it right. The Chinese have their own vampire mythology which is quite different from the European idea of vampires. Chinese vampires can't walk; they hop around. They can't enter your house if the entrance is covered with glutinous rice grains and chicken blood, and they can be frozen in their tracks by a yellow talisman to the forehead. This movie isn't about European vampires, it's about Chinese vampires. In that light, I give it 4 stars simply because it's been a long time since I've seen a Chinese vampire movie. Brings back memories of my youth when I was a kid and my parents would watch these kinds of movies.

I thought this movie was hilarious! The vampires were really different, I've never seen any like these before. You just need a sense of humor when you watch these kind of movies.

i look forward to karate movies but the high flying stuff (like this move) is getting to be too much. i dont worry much about beautiful backgrounds and scenery its nice but useless without good direction.
