I'm bewildered by those who did not enjoy this movie. I think Meyers did for The Cat what Carey did for the Grinch - just brought the character to life in such a comical way. I also loved how colourful and creative the movie was. I suppose if you had your mind set on only the storyline of the book it could be disappointing. I found it to be a very contemporary way to bring some Suess characters to life in a fun plot with a cast of charming characters!
