Page to Screen [TV Series] (2002)

Hosted by actor Peter Gallagher, this cable TV series detailed the process through which best-selling novels became high-grossing motion pictures. In addition to the requisite film clips, the series offered in-depth interviews with authors, screenwriters, actors, directors and critics. The first episode, telecast October 28, 2002, chronicled the matriculation from print to celluloid of The Silence of the Lambs. Later episodes of Page to Screen scrutinized such filmic literary adaptations as Jaws, L.A.
