Hootenany [TV Series] (1964)
Not to be confused with the American folk song-oriented series of the same name, Hootenanny was the Wednesday-afternoon component of the daily CBC "strip" Music Hop. The series featured a talented seven-member vocal group, each of whom was given his or her moment to shine whenever time permitted. The series was produced at the network's Winnipeg facilities, the home of many an other low-budget but high-quality songfest. The Canadian Hootenany was seen from September 30, 1964 to June 23, 1965. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
- Starring:
- Ray St. Germain, Lenny Breau, (more)
