Anthony Hickox directs Armand Assante in the espionage-laced action thriller Last Run. Assante plays Frank Banner, a man who spent much of his career helping Soviet spies make their way safely away from Mother Russia. This difficult task has left him hollow and bitter, as well as a widower. A straightforward look at the lives of spies as the Berlin Wall falls and new governments take over. What is great about this movie is that it is made in Europe and looks at things a little differently than a typical over the top Mission Impossible episode. It also has a lot of real life events and great team work to make an impossible "removal" happen. Somewhat like the "Transporter" series. Good action
