I saw this movie when it first came out in "62". I was seven, and it was magical. Best 25 cents I have ever spent.

When I rented this movie I did'nt read the movie reviews, so when I watched it, what a pleasant surprise, for some reason I thought it was a martial film, boy was I wrong. I saw this movie way back in 1962, I loved it then and I loved it this time, what great memories.

I still remember the summer night that my cousin and his friends and I went to see this at the drive-in (yeah, it goes back that far and so do I). the sudden scare techniques still worked as I still didn't expect them. The special effects are mundane by today's standards, but this is still a great flick with Basil Rathbone and the evil magician. and of course good triumphs over evil in the old fashion way.
