    J'ADORE LE CINEMA O.

The blind samurai strikes again. Action, pathos and comedy from his cane sword. Zatoichi is huge in Japan and getting known more here by cable late night. After seeing this, you might rent (the very long but really beautiful) Kagemusha by Kurosawa, who fired this lead actor before the movie began. This movie has Zatoichi finding his only ally is the sister of a man he was tricked into killing. After he rights this wrong, he receives her forgiveness. Very good Zatoichi film, whether your first or not.
