This creative look into the near-future is a refreshingly original take on cloning and other issues that world citizens will soon be expected to grapple with. Issues like our reliance on electronics that monitor our every move and secure our homes, workplaces, and government buildings. The classic Orwellian "Big Brother" themes come to mind. Particulary clever is the way we are made to consider all sorts of consequences and abuses that could arise from cloning and the "Xchanging" of minds. The corporate intrigue adds to the tension. In this story, our hero has a bad day go even worse and awful news keeps coming. He discovers that the person "borrowing" his body has stolen it and does not intend to return it. Our hero does have a chance to deliver a classic line while he wrestles with the villain. The bad guy says, "Your going to break your arm!" The hero replies, "I won't feel a thing." I was pleasantly surprised and very well-entertained by this smart thriller.

The thought of downloading someone's mind is haunting and a better director would have run with that storyline. It could be a very intense and spellbinding story with a lot of intensity, but this one didn't cut it. The ending is rediculous. William Baldwin was okay and maybe better than his other stuff, but he's not that great of an actor to begin with.
