This movie is terrible. I loved the book and am usually pretty forgiving to bad adaptations. I have read plenty of reviews of this movie all of which pan it as being really really bad. That doesn't even begin to describe it. This movie is horrible beyond explanation. It appears as if it were shot on an 8mm hand held. The dialogue is ridiculous. This move is so bad I couldn't even make fun of it. I wish there were something I could say like "it's good for a laugh" but it's so bad you can't even laugh at it.

It is unfortunate that the rights to this wonderful story ended up as a Roger Corman production...
