Charming role for Burt Lancaster, one of the all time greats. Stellar supporting cast. Well-written tongue-in-cheek humor and narration. Anyone who grew up in the Golden Age of Hollywood will enjoy this movie. Lancaster, Remick & Hutton perfect. Martin Landau is a hoot as Chief Walks-Stooped-Over as is Donald Pleasance as Oracle Jones.. Wish they still made them this good!
