This is a fun movie that has nothing to do with the video games that use this same title. If you really enjoy car chase movies you won't want to miss this oldie but goodie. Ron Howard both starred in this movie as well as directed it. This movie was his debut as a feature film director. Even though there are many vehicles that are crashed everyone walks away from those crashes. There are definitely some humorous moments in the movie. When watching it you must remember that it was made in 1977 when the world was a different place than it is today. You also need to remember the lack of technology at that time. This is a good date movie because Sam and Paula (the lead characters) are driving to Las Vegas to get married against the wishes of her parents. From there the chase is on!!!!
