It's short but fascinating and beautifully filmed (of course). Don't miss the interview with Beck Weathers in the extras or the mountain views and ascending in the special features. Those were great. And the making of was as good if not better than the movie itself for pure up close shots of the mountain and personal thrills. It's amazing to realize how much goes into the film itself and how much effort they all put into it for the viewing public to see Everest like this!

Probably THE BEST documentary I have ever seen. Spellbinding and caputuring. Don't miss the Beck Weathers interview in Special Features - if watched right after the main feature will add immeasurably to the experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

mostly for 3 reasons: -The amazing visuals and cinematography -The intense, emotional and powerful interview of Beck Weathers. That alone is worth the price of admission. -The doc of the making of the doc. My stars are for those things. The movie itself must have been great to look at in an IMAX theatre, but it was too short and too cursory a glance at what happened. It seemed like they could have done way more, like they online touched the surface. However, like I said, the interview with Beck Weathers blew me away--it fills in a lot of the holes that are missing in the movie itself.
