A unsettling examination of adultery. In this Spanish drama, a wealthy husband and father is bored with his marriage, falls for another woman and gets sucked into a kidnapping and extortion scheme. There is a interesting message here that if one has an overbearing ennui, there may be unpleasant consequences. Well done all around.
