I liked the play and I like Ingrid Bergman. However, this movie was slow and most of the acting was forced. I don't mind black & white, but this movie made the visual and audio produce a boring result.

I agree with the other reviews. The acting was good. It must have been the producing and directing that made this film a boring movie. I fell asleep and will not bother to pick up where I fell asleep.

Ingrid Bergman is as close to definitive as one could hope for in the title role. The play has been cut to fit a BBC program, but the cuts are not very damaging. A great play done very well.
