After a computer-tested set of features is found to be the face most likely to win the confidence of the French people, Marcel (Jean Carmot), who recently turned down a promotion at his bank in order to spend time with his wife, finds himself swept up into the schemes and shenanigans of the President of France (Michel Lonsdale) to regain the confidence of the French.
